ICT Based Teaching Learning
In teaching learning process, CPS team always give the priority to use ICT in the classroom. With new digital technologies, students are able to develop their understanding, they can use technology in problem solving and learn about how computers work and work with a range of data and information.
Experimental and experiential Learning
In order to create a sustainable learning approach, we combine our core and supplementary curricula through board prescribed content and innovative learning approaches; contemporary teaching techniques and special programmes and examples from everyday life to develop students' understanding beyond the textbooks.
Collaborative learning
We believe that group activities help children to develop their communication skills and improve their interpersonal relationships. Collaborative learning techniques are used to improve team-building skills such as organization, delegation, negotiation, teamwork, co-operation and leadership.
Guidance and Feedback
CPS’ teachers provide the students with latest information to help them to overcome with their learning problems. Visiting lectures/facilitators are also invited by the school authorities to provide recent approaches in teaching and learning. Students going through severe emotional difficulties or personal problems are provided with confidential and sensitive support and counselling from teachers.
Formative Assessment
In CPS, assessment is done in a regular manner and through formative and summative process. Our formative assessments are short term testing done through interactive class discussions, spot performances, quizzes, brainstorming where our students are in the process of learning new content and of integrating it into what they already know. They get immediate feedback which enables them to change their understanding and performance to re-demonstrate their understanding.
Continuous Professional Development
CPS encourages to nurturing our teachers providing better working environment and opportunity to grow professionally as well as personally. We encourage them to use the best resources and experiences as successful facilitators of the existing pedagogy. We run the capacity building programs for classroom management, Mathematics and language, soft skills, communication techniques, etc. regularly with taking support from experts of a variety of sectors.
